Gorgeous old Perko solid brass ship's Anchor Lantern. A tall beauty in wonderfully restored condition with the old brass gleaming. This type of old lantern was known as a "Bird Cage" due to the curved side protective bars and the overall shape. Dated to the late 1930s.
This lantern has a prefect lens and the ribbed top venting for its original oil lamp. Now the oil pot has a small candelabra lamp socket mounted in its opening and new wiring to the LED bulb. A smaller wattage bulb would reduce the brightness.
A prized addition to a nautical collection or decor, the lantern is 16 inches tall with a 7 inch diameter.
