British classic Bow Lantern from Birmingham Engineering Co., Ltd. Galvanized metal with lots of brass parts and painted the traditional British Red.
Lantern dates from the mid-1940s and it features a perfect lens and the standard Birmingham hanging fixture.
We've re-rigged the old oil pot to hold a new socket, added new wiring and a LED bulb.
Lantern is 16 1/4 inches high with the mounting fixture up, 8 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches deep.
In all, a delightful touch of nautical England.
