Beautifully restored early 1900 solid brass ship's stern lantern from Helvigs, New York. Excellent lens and inside oil pot has been replaced with new electric socket and wiring. Uses 10 watt night light bulb.
Lantern is a true collector's item since old brass lanterns with excellent lenses are now a rareity. This one is nicely polished and looks great.
12 inches high with carrying loop up, 5 1/2 inches deep and 5 inches wide.
