This charming old lantern has the rare Triplex lens in perfect condition. These lenses were made in the early 1900s (1910-1912) and designed to project a strong beam of light from each of the convex points.
They cost an extra 10% in those days and, as a result of the higher cost, there were not many sold, thus the rarity.
This old lantern has been electrified with new parts. It stands 16 1/2 inches tall with the hanging loop up. The width is 7 1/2 inches and the depth is 7 1/2 inches.
