L21 Old Tug Side Lights from Maine
Almost historical! This pair of Port and Starboard lights/light boards came off an old Portland, Maine tugboat.
The tug owner/Captain had them sitting on the dock next to his boat while he was working to get the vessel ready for a Coast Guard inspection. He was replacing these hand-made running lights with store-bought versions as required. He was selling the old light set.
They are made of heavy wood planking, with excellent lenses and his specially designed removable light sockets. They have successfully weathered the harsh Maine salty winters and are really unique.
The mounting legs were designed to place the lights on the forward right and left corners of the tug's wheelhouse roof. 17 inches long, 12 inches deep and 10 inches high.
Shipping cost of $85 included in the price of the lantern to the lower 48 U.S. States.
