T1 Royal National Lifeboat Institution Scope
This is a Royal National Lifeboat Institution scope, used in the UK by their non-profit. A non-government charity which saves lives at sea around the coasts of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and the surrounding islands.
This scope was made by Negretti and Zambra, London and originally featured a cord wrap around the barrel.
It is a one-draw scope, made of nickel over brass with a closed length of 17 1/2 inches.
Fully drawn is is 23 3/4 inches long.
Original Royal National Lifeboat Institution scopes are rare and this one features very good optics.
The objective lens is 1 3/8 inches in diameter.
