This is a Rare brass globe lantern, or as some call it an "Onion" lantern. Made by Perkins over 100 years ago, this lantern was part of the owners collection and was wired professionally to show light out of the globe and from the bottom. It has a quartz bulb which gets very warm but throws great light for hanging above a table.
Lantern has a 10 inch clear glass globe, stands 18 1/2 inches high and 13 inches in diameter.
It would be a great addition to any collection.
