Co3 USN WWII Mark VII Ship's Binnacle
This is a beautiful WWII era US Navy Ship Binnacle made in 1942 by the Ajax Engineering Co. of Chicago.
The binnacle is solid bronze, copper and brass and stands 54 inches high, 34 inches wide and 18 inches deep.
It retains the original Navy grey paint and is fitted with a Lionel Corp. Mark I USN Compass.
The binnacle is in excellent condition and carries a copper hood/bonnet.
This binnacle was in US Navy service until 1980.
It is a great piece of US Navy history.
