Engine Order Telegraphs

The Cuttysark has a pretty good size collection of Engine Order Telegraphs available for sale.

EOT9:  This beautiful, huge Danish telegraph is from the 1940's-1950's, solid brass with plastic handles. It stands 51" tall with the handles, 46" tall without the handles.  It is 14" deep with the handles, 12 1/2" deep without, and has a 13 1/2" double face.  This eot does not have bells, but does have double handles and double faces.  The back face was cracked as some time and glued back together on the interior glass. (contact for a close-up face picture).  This EOT is truely beautiful, and has recently been polished up to the highest shine.

EOT2:   This is a 70+ old EOT, made be Chadburns.  (British)  It has a black face with white lettering, it is brass and we have it mounted on a wood base.

This EOT is 48 inches tall from the floor to handle, including the base, 101/2 inches wide with a single handle and has bells.


 

       

EOT3:  This Ships EOT, we expect it is from a Foss Tug boat (Seattle), from the 1950's. It has a black face with white lettering and is brass.  This EOT is 49 1/2 inches tall from the floor to handle, 11 1/2 inches wide with a single handle and no bells.

EOT4: This is a BEAUTIFUL Jos. Harper Inc. Lower Station EOT, from the early 1900's, New York. It has a white face with black lettering, it is yellow brass with rose brass on the rim. This EOT is 48 1/2 inches tall from floor to handle, 9 1/2 inches wide, double handled and faced, with bells.

EOT5: This is a beautifully restored Robinson EOT from the UK, early 1900's. It has a black face with white lettering, the base is painted black, but is has brass handles. This EOT is electrified, it is 47 3/4 inches tall from floor to handle, 9 inches wide, double handled with bells.

EOT8:  This EOT is from New York, made by Brelco Co.  55 Vandam St. NY.  It is brass, white faced with black lettering.  Pre-WWII era, 1930's- 1940's.  It is 49" tall with the handle, 43" without, 7" deep with the handle, 6" deep without and has a 10 1/4" diameter face.  It is single handled and faced with a very faint bell. 

 

 

 

       

EOT7: This is a 1962 brass head ships EOT, from Nunotani Kei ki Seisakusho, Amagasaki Japan. It has a black face with white and red lettering, it is brass headed, with black and green paint on the base. This EOT is electrified, it is 45 1/2 inches tall from floor to handle, 16 inches wide, double handled, with bells, and call button.
